GDRFA Dubai
GDRFA Dubai is the emirate's residency authority - the body that actually grants your residence permit.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai - the emirate's residency authority. For property golden visas, GDRFA Dubai processes the residence application itself: passport, security clearance and file review, then issuance of the residence permit. It lists around 5 working days for issuance once documents, medical and biometrics are complete. Since April 2026 it operates a unified workflow with the Dubai Land Department (under an MoU signed 11 April 2026), so property verification and residency processing run as one sequence rather than two separate applications.
