The Real Estate Regulatory Agency - the regulatory arm of the Dubai Land Department. RERA licenses brokers and regulates the conduct of the Dubai property market, and the regulatory systems buyers and tenants touch most often operate under its oversight: Ejari for tenancy registration, Trakheesi for advertising permits, and Mollak for service charges. Where DLD is the registry (who owns what, at what certified value), RERA is the referee (who may broker, advertise and manage, and on what terms). Buyers rarely deal with RERA directly, but its rules shape almost every transaction step.

Why it matters RERA licensing is what separates a regulated broker from someone with a phone and a listing.
